Welcome to Blogmas 2018! It’s officially December and the countdown for Christmas begins! For day 1 of Blogmas, I’m sharing our Christmas tree and an up-close look at our ornaments. Keep on reading to learn the stories of the ornaments on our family Christmas tree.
24 days until Christmas!
Our Christmas tree is in our living room. We’ve had this Christmas since we moved into our apartment in December 2015/January 2016.
Our red walls are perfect for Christmas 😉
I have never really cared about buying ornaments for the tree and that is why I just bought a pack of sphere ornaments when we first bought a tree. Over the past years, I’ve gotten a few fun ornaments and I’ve also received a few as gifts.Â
I know many people who buy ornaments for special moments in their lives and even yearly ornaments, or they collect ornaments, and etc. I don’t see myself ever going crazy with ornaments. I do appreciate and love when people gift ornaments to me. I will continue to buy maybe 1-2 per year as well.
Unfortunately, I am missing a princess Elena ornament that I bought last year for my daughter Elena and I’m also missing my mini toy story ornaments. They were not in my Christmas bin, so I must have stored them somewhere else.
Here are the ornaments on our tree
- 2018 Hallmark Minnie Mouse ornament (gift from a coworker/friend)
- Santa 2017 (gift from the doctor that I work with)
- 2017 Hallmark Mickey Mouse (gift from my manager-secret santa)
- 2017 handmade Disney family (gift from my coworker/friend)
- Santa 2018 (I bought it from Target)
- Cinderella (She’s my favorite princess)
- I bought at Target along with Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Ms. Claus (I bought at Target)
If I had a house with several rooms and space, I would love to have more than 1 Christmas tree. How cool would it be to have a different theme on each tree!?
So tell me, how many Christmas trees do you have?
Do you collect ornaments or buy ornaments for all special events?Â
How do you decorate your tree?Â
