I have joined the essential oil community and I never thought I would. After several months of health research, I made my first essential oils purchase! In this blog post, I share the reason why I made my first essential oils purchase! I’m so excited!
This is not a sponsored post and I have little experience with essential oils and the following information is based on the research I’ve done.
What are essential oils?
Reasons why I started using essential oils
-
Embrace wellness (improve immunity and speed recovery from illness)
-
For diffusing and natural air cleaning
-
Use topically (when diluted) on myself and even my toddler
-
Add to DIY cleaning products
-
Add into my DYI face wash

The main reason I gave into buying essential oils was because I wanted to start making my own face wash. I’m trying to use more natural organic products and by making them myself, I know exactly what’s in them. Do you actually know what your putting on your body? Many store bought products contain toxins and even carcinogens. You don’t need those on your body and much less in your body.
Diffusing essential oils and/or applying them topically (when diluted) can embrace wellness naturally. I’m all for that natural life 🙂
I was originally going to buy from Young Living because I knew the purity of the oil was important and Young Living is very well known for selling essential oils. I then found there are several essential oil companies that sell pure essential oils at reasonable prices.
I bought directly from Plant Therapy because their mission is to educate their customers and also offer pure high quality essential oils at great prices. PLUS, Plant Therapy sells oils for kids!
