Tokyo Disney parks have the cutest and most unique merchandise that I’ve ever seen! When I heard about Tokyo Kawaii Club, I immediately wanted it! It’s a monthly subscription with free customization. In this blog post I share what I received in my mailer and the pros and cons of Tokyo Kawaii Club.
About Tokyo Kawaii Club
Tokyo Kawaii Club was created by Michael Donahoe. Michael quit his job at Facebook here in the USA and moved to Japan because of his love of theme parks and Japan. He left it all to live the life he wants and that’s absolutely amazing! Way to go, Michael!
Michael carefully picks out cute and unique items from Tokyo Disneyland, Disney Sea, and Tokyo Disney stores then ships them out to subscribers. Each mailer is customized to your favorite characters.

My Magic Mailer
Michael E-mailed me after I placed my order asking me what were my favorite Disney characters. I told him that I like anything and everything Toy Story and Cinderella.
I share the pros and cons at the end of this blog post.
Here is what I received!

Overall, I was so happy with the Tokyo merchandise! My favorite was the Toy story sticky notes! My daughter’s favorite is the alien lip gloss. I will definitely be enjoying using all the items. I think a personalized note from Michael with a Tokyo Disneyland map makes this mailer so much magical.
I think the magic mailer is priced reasonably. I don’t see myself subscribing to the Magic mailer any time soon for two reasons. 1) It’s pricey for a monthly subscription (but well worth it if you can afford it). 2) I know of a few trusted people who do Tokyo Disney parks “pick ups” and ship you exactly what you want.
I’m so inspired of Michael’s story and think that what he is doing is so great! I follow him on Instagram (@tokyokawaiiclub) and will continue to support his business. I’ll do another magic mailer in the future some time 🙂
