Out of all things, I would have never thought about my feet growing after pregnancy. I, fortunately, never had leg or feet swelling during my pregnancy. After giving birth, I started to notice my shoes fit a bit tight. I didn’t think much of it until I started asking other moms and realized that feet actually grow after pregnancy!
I’m half a size bigger now! I have just about 50+ pairs of shoes in my closet that are size 6 and I am now size 6.5. I was hoping that somehow if I gave it more time, maybe my feet would somehow go back to size 6. Long story shot, it didn’t happen.
Anyway, I started buying a couple of shoes a half a size bigger now (6.5) and now it was time to replace my running shoes. It got to the point where I was having actual pain because the shoes were too small. My old running shoes were a size 6.5 and now I bought my new running shoes in size 7. If you’re a runner, you know it’s recommended to buy half a size up to give room to your toes while running.

I’ve only ever own Brooks shoes for running, so I went with what I know and what I feel comfortable with. I bought the newest Brooks Adrenaline GTS 18. Pink is my favorite color so I had to buy the one that had pink on them 😉
The support these Brooks shoes give is incredible. The difference is very well noticed when trying on different shoes at the store. I absolutely love them! They are lightweight and have breathable material.
The price I paid for them was $120 and I strongly believe they are well worth it! I don’t see myself buying any other kind of running shoe and I see myself returning for more Brooks Adrenaline over and over again.
Call me crazy, but I didn’t know about cool running sunglasses glasses. I didn’t even know running glasses existed. PERIOD. Not too long ago (a week or two ago), I commented on an Instagram photo saying how much I loved the person’s sunglasses. The Instagram user responded to my comment saying that she recommends them and that they were Goodr. I went online to look them up and discovered that they were quite popular for runners and have several colors to choose from.
When I was shopping for my new Brooks shoes, I spotted goodr sunglasses! I immediately knew I need a pair to try out. I choose the pink ones which have the name of Bathing In Purple Rain.
I tested them out, and they are everything I never knew I wanted! They don’t budge while moving my head or while running. I’m in love and will definitely be buying more colors. The price is pretty great, I think, at $25 each pair and they come in a pretty good quality pouch inside a box. This makes a great gift for a runner too!
This sums up my recent purchase for my running addiction 😉
In case you’re wondering, I no longer have foot pain. The new shoes are great and I’m doing so much better with a half size up!
What are your favorite running shoes? Do you use Goodr sunglasses? I would love to hear from you in the comments below!
