In 2018, I’ll be using The Happy Planner by Me & My Big Ideas (BAMBI) for my first time and I’m so excited! I was even more excited to find out BAMBI offered a budget planner too! They offer a planner extension with budget pages to insert into your Happy Planner or a budget planner by itself (the one I bought).

I bought this budget planner on Black Friday this year, 2017. It was on sale for $9.99! That’s a deal too good to pass for a well-organized and well put together planner. The planner is great quality and very pretty too! I haven’t seen this planner for more than $30 anywhere online. I’m sure that if you shop through a local craft store, you will most likely be able to use a 50% off coupon. You can definitely snag this budget planner for $10-$15 with a coupon or during a sale!
The budget planner edition of the Happy Planner is a planner itself and there is no requirement to have to buy a Happy Planner to use it. I think that this planner can be used as both your everyday planner and your budget planner! It has monthly spread pages and weekly spread pages like a normal planner. The added bonuses are the cover, budgeting pages, and money related quotes. I’ll be using this budget planner for budgeting and managing my finances only.
First Pages

I love the Hello page because it’s in my favorite color pink! The little piggy is so adorable on the left.

2018 year at a glance (left) and saving goals per month January-December (right)
Monthly budget page + Month cover page

Sections in the monthly budget page are: starting balance, monthly income, bills/fixed expenses, variable expenses, savings, goals for next month, and ending balance.
Month Spread

Every month has the name of the month on the left page and 2018 on the right. Weeks in the month spread are from Sunday to Saturday and the notes section is on the left hand side. Each month has a different color theme.
Week Spread

Each week is divided in two pages and each week goes from Monday-Sunday. The first week of month has a different quote on the bottom right. There is a mini month calendar on the top left and underneath it there is a section labeled “Weekly Spending.”
Expense Tracker + Bill Pay Checklist

At the end of each month, there are two helpful pages. On the left there is an expense tracker and on the right there is a bill pay checklist with a notes sections for the month.
Mid Year Check (June)

The same savings goals page in January is also in June. I LOVE this because it can serve as a mid-year check.

I’m so excited to use this budget planner for 2018! It was very affordable and it’s super cute and very well designed to stay organized. I’m unsure if I’ll be using the weekly pages, but I’m definitely going to be using the monthly pages, monthly budget, monthly expense tracker, monthly bill pay checklist, and savings goals! I have a feeling I’ll be repurchasing another one for the following year- that’s how confident that I’ll love it! What do you use to budget? Let me know in the comments below.
